Summary of Position: The KCAD Library is looking for library assistants. Library Assistants will be fully trained on all library policies, procedures, software and systems. We will work with your class schedule when assigning shifts. Come work for the library - Apply Today!
Position Requirements: Library Assistants will be fully trained on all library policies, procedures, software and systems.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: KCAD Library Assistant responsibilities / work to include:
Circulation desk duties: library user assistance; checking library materials in & out; basic to mid-level research assistance. Sorting, organizing and shelving library materials; shelf reading & s library stacks maintenance. MeLCat duties to include: processing & packaging MeLCat requests, sending & receiving MeLCat deliveries. Processing, shelving & straightening magazines & journals. General maintenance of the library space: dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, etc. as needed. Special projects as needed /assigned.
