Our Corporate Marketing team functions as an in-house agency, producing the research, presentations, campaigns and creative assets that support the business across leasing, business development and executive functions.

As a Project Coordinator on the B2B and Digital Marketing team, you'll support the teams responsible for pitching Macerich properties to national and regional retailers, advancing business development relationships and equipping our executive team with materials that move decisions forward. The work spans data-driven presentations, digital marketing analysis, creative asset management, leasing events, digital platforms and AI-powered workflows. It's detail-oriented, varied and moves quickly.

The right candidate brings a strong design eye, comfort with analytics and the ability to keep multiple projects organized and on-brand at once.

What You Will Do:

  • Organize and route creative assets across project work, including photography, archival materials, charts, graphs and design files, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards
  • Coordinate asset development with agencies, freelancers and in-house designers; produce or source materials and images from internal libraries and stock services as needed
  • Maintain and continuously improve the organization and usability of internal and external file systems, including Box.com, the company's Digital Asset Management platform and shared external repositories, ensuring leasing and business development teams can easily locate and access the materials they need
  • Proof and quality-check all work product for accuracy, data integrity and design quality before delivery
  • Plan and execute B2B email marketing campaigns, including lead generation sends and ongoing outreach, using assigned email marketing platforms
  • Coordinate AI tools and workflows within Claude to support team efficiency, including building and maintaining skills and projects for the B2B and marketing departments
  • Research and compile key data points and pull analytics to support individual project and reporting needs
  • Assist with website content updates, digital marketing platform management and shopper-facing digital support tools
  • Process requests for property map updates and support onboarding of new shopping centers to the portfolio
  • Support logistics for leasing and sales events
  • Collaborate with project managers, corporate communications and other marketing team members to ensure smooth execution across shared work
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The compensation for this position is determined based on several factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the specific requirements of the role. Final salary offers will be discussed during the interview process and will reflect the candidate's skills and the company's compensation structure.

 What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-4 years of marketing, agency or equivalent experience required
  • A sharp design eye and elevated aesthetic standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills required
  • Proficiency in Canva and basic Photoshop skills, including image resizing and cropping
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, content management systems and email marketing tools
  • Familiarity with file management and digital asset management platforms such as Box.com or similar tools
  • Comfort pulling, organizing and interpreting data analytics
  • Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to build and manage workflows within AI platforms
  • Minimal travel may be required (5%)
  • Working outside of normal business hours may be required (5%)
