LIBERTY ADVANTAGE INSURANCE SALES AGENT (MEDICARE)

Full Time

Job Summary
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key personnel at offices and other referral sources.
  • Performs necessary defined tasks to enroll eligible individuals into the Medicare Advantage plan by explaining plan benefits, answering questions about the plan, and guiding prospect through the enrollment process
  • Maintains accurate and current sales activity reports and records for distribution to leadership
  • Complies with regulatory requirements for marketing and sales; follow and adhere to applicable market conduct rules.
  • Works with offices in the development and execution of the sales/marketing plan
  • Takes inventory of plan marketing materials for each assigned office and notifies operations director if new shipment is needed.
  • Evaluates office marketing plan and modifies as needed to achieve desired results
  • Position will be 70% travel in assigned areas. The remaining 30% will be work from home.
Job Requirements
  • Must hold a current license to sell health insurance in North Carolina
  • Must maintain all requirements to sell health insurance in North Carolina and be in good standing with the licensing board
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
  • Prior sales experience in healthcare market preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to offices within your assigned region, a home workspace allowing for a productive office environment will also be necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Must possess valid driver's license and proof of insurance
