As a Family Practice Physician Assistant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff, all dedicated to improving patient outcomes. • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations to ensure accurate diagnosis and development of treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans that address the diverse needs of our patient population.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment protocols based on the results and best medical practices.

• Administer vaccinations, prescribe medications, and educate patients about preventive health measures, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.

• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, coordinating referrals to specialty care as needed to ensure comprehensive patient management.

• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and follow-up steps.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with the latest advancements in medical practices to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our department’s care delivery.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while establishing rapport and trust with patients and their families, ensuring their voices are heard in all aspects of care.

• Maintain ethical and legal standards in all medical practices and safeguard patient confidentiality diligently.

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Current Physician Assistant certification and a valid state license are required prior to employment.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant is necessary to apply.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Strong clinical skills with the ability to utilize critical thinking, active learning, and effective communication.

• Competencies in time management, judgment, decision-making, and reading comprehension are highly valued.

• Experience working within a family practice or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with EPIC EMR or similar healthcare technology systems will be beneficial.
