POSITION: The Village Office Student Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Center for Cultural Liberation
REPORTS TO: Associate Director of the CCL
HOURS NEEDED PER WEEK: 8- 10 hours (fall, and spring)
HOURLY RATE: $15.00 /hour
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT (APPROXIMATE): August 2026 - May 2027

JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the recruitment and support of member of The Village
- Assist The Village coordinator in designing and implementing the program curriculum
- Plan opportunities for building community among Black students, faculty, and staff
- Promote The Village efforts in coordination with the Marketing and Communications team
- Plan educational events for The Village members with the Education and Special Events Coordinator
- Implement a social media strategy to inform and engage students and campus community on The Village programs and initiatives
- Manage DU BeInvolved and other platforms
- Assist with development of the CCL newsletter and other communication materials
- Attend biweekly supervision meetings and biweekly CCL team meetings
- Serve on CCL planning committees
- Provide 7-8 hours a week of in-person office hours
- Perform other duties as requested, delegated, or assigned

- Dynamic self-starter who takes initiative, highly reliable, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Suite
