Reporting to the Project Manager the responsibilities of the Project Coordinator<\/b> include:

  • Read technical and administrative project specifications;<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Inspect work daily to ensure that it meets the specified standards;<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Inform the Project Manager of project development and discuss methods planned with site management;<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Order critical material with suppliers in collaboration with the Superintendent;<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for purposes of productivity analysis and accurate job cost forecasting;<\/span>

  • Perform duties related to document control, including formatting documentation and maintaining records according to cloud\-based filing system; <\/span>

  • Assist in the preparation of final records for the project, including as\-builts;<\/span>

  • Organize and participate in various meetings;<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Establish and keep necessary communications between suppliers, sub\-contractors, professionals and client;<\/span>

  • Assist in carrying out a variety of field duties at the job site related to project.<\/span>

    • Post\-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering program or similar, or a combination of technical training and\/or related experience;<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • 2\-5 years of industry experience;<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience in construction industry (civil preferred);<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings;<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience with scheduling and planning site activities;<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent command of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Cost analysis, control, and reporting;<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Bilingual (an asset), but proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
