Job description

MTSI is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Digital Engineering Expert to lead the design, development, and implementation of a Digital Engineering Ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in transforming MDA systems engineering processes by integrating advanced digital tools, fostering collaboration, and driving efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the continuous development and maintenance of the Government Reference Architecture (GRA) framework.
  • Develop and maintain the MDA Reference Architecture Style Guide.
  • Build and maintain standard view levels, browser structure schemas, and standard model profiles.
  • Integrate diverse data sources into the enterprise architecture.
  • Manage and audit architecture configuration settings.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders (TF/TF-A&E, MDA 2-Letters) and external organizations (OSW, etc.).
  • Collaborate with MDA Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on Pathfinder projects to model "as-is" and "to-be" processes and document process improvements.
  • Deliver Tranche updates to the GRA according to mission requirements.

Job Requirements:
  • US Citizenship and a Secret level security clearance is required
  • Master's Degree in a STEM field with 10+ years of progressively complex Digital Engineering experience; OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field with 13+ years of progressively complex Digital Engineering experience.
  • Possess an active or recent DoW Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, respectful, and mission-focused team while maintaining the discipline to work independently.
  • Thorough knowledge of SysML v1 and Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Strong grasp of systems thinking with the capability to perform granular technical analysis.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including executive-level communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • TS security clearance
  • Experience with the Missile Defense System or other large scale DoW Systems-of-Systems.
  • Mastery of digital engineering transformation tools, methodologies, and implementation strategies.
  • Comprehensive mastery of requirements engineering, traceability frameworks, and full system life cycle engineering methodologies.
  • Formal training in INCOSE standards, SEBoK, or ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288.
