Express / Maintenance Technician

3–5 Years of Professional Automotive Diagnostic & Repair Experience Required

Lexus or Toyota experience preferred but not required.

Express/Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes and Lexus Multi-Point Inspections
  • Complete Video Multi-Point Inspections (Video MPIs) on every vehicle to clearly communicate vehicle condition and maintenance recommendations to customers
  • Rotate and balance tires
  • Replace engine air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades
  • Inspect brakes, steering, suspension, and vehicle fluids
  • Complete maintenance services according to Lexus and dealership standards
  • Communicate repair opportunities to management
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  •  

Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC, and hybrid technologies
  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • Perform Video Multi-Point Inspections (Video MPIs) on every vehicle to clearly communicate repair recommendations and vehicle condition to customers
  • Complete repairs according to Lexus and manufacturer specifications
  • Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding repair recommendations and additional services
  • Perform warranty repairs
  • Accurately document repair procedures and findings
  • Participate in Lexus manufacturer training and certification programs
  • Stay current on technical service bulletins
  • Maintain productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship
  • Maintain dealership tools and equipment
  • Follow OSHA and dealership safety standards
