Lawyer job at Anene Farrey & Associates, LLC. Atlanta, GA.

Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. If you love going to court, have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use todayโ€™s technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect!

Responsibilities:
  • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clientsโ€™ needs after analysis
  • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
  • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
  • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
  • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Manage own caseload
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
  • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
  • Communication, problem-solving, decisionโ€‘making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
  • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
  • Must have courtroom experience arguing motions, trying cases, arguing motions, etc.
