Job description

Lewis Bakeries, Inc. is looking for a Sales Manager for the Huntsville, AL area. The desired candidate must be located in this area. The position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Essential Functions

  • Manage customer accounts including developing, and growing customer relationships in a big box selling environment.
  • Providing leadership to a team to achieve sales volume targets
  • Recruit, train and develop a team of store merchandisers to meet customer requirements and expectations, as well as sales targets
  • Providing feedback to management to ensure effective results
  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations by following company strategies
  • Observing and reporting competitive activity within the territory and recommending solutions to management
  • Promoting practices that result in all employees conducting themselves in a safe and professional manner

Qualifications:

Successful candidates must have at least three years of sales and management experience in a consumer packaged goods or direct store delivery environment. College degree is preferred.

This position is subject to a drug test and background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
