Job Overview
Komatsu is currently recruiting for a Welder to work at our Virginia, MN location. This position is represented by a union.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Proficient at Carbon Arc Gouging
  • Proficient with Oxy/Fuel Torch
  • Understand Weld Symbols
  • Certified Rigging
  • Proficient at Print Reading
  • Proficient at Fitting/Layout
  • Must have experience with a variety of SMAW and FCAW welding electrodes.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis.
  • Perform a variety of welding and cutting applications (including air arcing).
  • Lay out and perform complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality.
  • Assess equipment repair needs and developing repair processes.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and perform minor repairs to most assigned tooling; wire feeders and welding machines.
  • Work in a diverse team environment.
  • Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments.

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $$28.80 - $37.40. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
