Description
English Comprehension
Each individual will be required to take and pass a short English comprehension test which follows CEFR A1 level guidelines in understanding. This test is in English and includes a five sentence statement, followed by five questions related to the statement. A passing score is 3 of 5 or more questions answered correctly. Answers can be written in primary language as the intent of the test is only to show a base understanding level is known. If unable to pass this test, we will not move forward with an interview, but strongly encourage each individual to work on improving their understanding and re-apply in the future.
As our business continues to evolve to meet higher standards in quality, safety, efficiency, and customer expectations, it has become increasingly important that all team members are able to show at minimum, a base comprehension in English. Everyday paperwork such as work orders, blueprints, inspection forms are all in English. Our job status system and other programs are also in English. It is vital that everyone can understand in full the expectations set by these items to meet business expectations.
We do our best as a team to lend assistance when translations might be needed but this is not always available. Phones are not permitted on the production floor for safety reasons, so base comprehension is necessary to remain effective in production efficiencies.
Location
This position will be primarily based out of our Phoenix facilities at 2610 South 21st Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034 Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites.
Shift Schedule (Current as of posting, but is subject to change pending business needs)
2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 02:30PM - 01:00AM; 10.00 hour shifts with potential for additional hours pending business needs.
Position Description
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying defects and ensuring products meet quality standards and have a background in Non-Destructive Inspection. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

1. Conduct visual inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
2. Perform dimensional and functional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
3. Follow established inspection procedures and document results accurately.
Requirements
Qualifications
• 1-3 years prior experience in quality-based role.
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time throughout shift.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Proficiency with computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
• Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred experience working in a mid-sized company where gap-filling is routine.
• Comfortable in a fast paced and adaptive/evolving environment.
• Stable and reliable attendance
o A pattern of Late Ins, Early Outs, Unexcused Call Outs, etc. is not acceptable.
• Strong positive work ethic
o Have a good history of safe work practices, focus on quality, and steady efficiency.
o Personal errors in your specific department can happen, what is important is if you were able to learn from an error and move forward in a positive manner.
• Multilingual
English and Spanish are the Arizona team's top two primary languages. Fluency, consisting of reading, writing, speaking, and listening in both is recommended. Ancillary would be full comprehension in English with base understanding in Spanish while continuing to learn and develop the communication skill set overtime.
