The Marketing Intern will support Knutson's marketing and communications team by creating engaging content, developing visual materials, and assisting with day-to-day marketing operations. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate communications, graphic design, brand management, and business development support while collaborating with teams across the organization. The intern will help strengthen Knutson's brand, enhance employee and client communications, and contribute creative ideas that support the company's strategic goals and core values.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Communications:

    Assist with the creation and distribution of internal and external communications.

    Draft content for employee announcements, company newsletters, project updates, and leadership communications.

    Support social media planning, content creation, and scheduling across company platforms.

    Help develop content that highlights Knutson's projects, people, culture, and community involvement.

    Coordinate employee stories, interviews, and project spotlights for marketing initiatives.

    Ensure all communications align with Knutson's brand standards, voice, and core values.

    Marketing Operations:

    Support the planning and coordination of marketing and business development initiatives.

    Maintain and update marketing databases, project information, resumes, and marketing collateral.

    Assist with proposal and qualification document preparation.

    Help organize marketing assets, photography, project information, and branded materials.

    Track marketing metrics and assist in compiling reports on communication and campaign performance.

    Provide administrative support for marketing team projects and special initiatives.

    Graphic Design:

    Create visual content for internal communications, presentations, social media, recruiting materials, and marketing campaigns.

    Assist with proposal graphics, project sheets, and client-facing presentations.

    Support photography selection, image editing, and visual asset management.

    Help develop branded templates and maintain consistency across marketing materials.

    Ensure all designs align with Knutson's brand guidelines and visual identity standards.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

    Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Journalism, Business Administration (Marketing emphasis), or a related field.
