Job description

Do you want to work in a fast-paced, beer-centric, customer-oriented environment? Can you remain calm and adaptable under pressure? Can you multi-task while maintaining attention to detail? If yes, New Realm Brewing Co. wants you to support our staff as a Food Runner and busser! We are perfection-seeking in all that we do, but we adhere to a “work-hard, play-hard” ethos and are committed to work-life balance.

Our ideal candidate will be cooperative and collaborative, energetic and upbeat, self-motivated and disciplined. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering finished dishes efficiently and accurately. This includes checking that all outgoing food meets presentation standards, is cooked properly, and that plates are at the correct temperature. You will liaise between BOH and FOH staff, will monitor ticket times and report delays where necessary, and will work as part of a tightly knit team to guarantee guest satisfaction. Busser duties include ensuring that dining areas/tables are clean, plates and glassware are cleared in a timely fashion, and place-settings are refreshed, and tables turned over in accordance with best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Be timely and dependable.
  • Ensure that all dining areas are clean and appropriately outfitted and are cleared/reset quickly and correctly after each turnover.
  • Support servers in their duties.
  • Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Perform opening/closing tasks and side work duties as a self-starter.
  • Consistently meet all best practice standards set in the employee handbook and during training.
