SENIOR CAREER ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - CIVIL LITIGATION/ non-partnership track

Our client, a prestigious Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a Senior Career Associate Attorney to support its Strategic Advisory & Government Enforcement (SAGE) litigation team. This role is well-suited for an experienced litigator who thrives in sophisticated, high-volume matters and is interested in an alternative to the traditional partner track while continuing to perform deeply substantive legal work.
The position will focus primarily on managing a large docket of complex civil litigation for a major technology client. Depending on experience and business needs, there may also be opportunities to support financial services, white collar, and privacy and data security litigation and enforcement matters.
Candidate Profile
  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 8+ years of substantive complex civil litigation experience,
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting briefs, motions, and discovery documents, including e-discovery
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
  • Experience managing deposition and trial preparation and proactive deadline management
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • A proactive, client-centered mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong legal research skills and the ability to synthesize large factual records into persuasive advocacy

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a large, active docket of complex civil litigation matters for a major technology client
  • Collaborate on leanly staffed teams to develop and execute case strategy
  • Drive fact development efforts, including issue identification and factual analysis
  • Draft and refine motions to dismiss, dispositive motions, briefs, declarations, and other litigation documents
  • Manage discovery efforts, including written discovery, document review strategy, and e-discovery coordination
  • Assist with deposition preparation and witness support
  • Help manage case calendars, deadlines, and workflow to ensure high-quality, timely work product
  • Participate in hearings and, for qualified candidates, pursue oral argument opportunities as client confidence is established
