Job description

Office Assistant

The Administration Department is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Office Assistant. This full-time role requires a dependable professional who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional internal and external customer service.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and assisting customers in person and by telephone
  • Performing a variety of administrative duties, including filing, copying, data entry, and calendar management
  • Posting Accounts Payable transactions
  • Transcribing, preparing, and reviewing meeting minutes
  • Organizing, maintaining, and archiving departmental documents
  • Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook with a high level of proficiency
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in handling sensitive information

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on-site.

Minimum Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED, and two years of general office experience including customer service experience are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those in the job description.

Licensing Requirements:

  • Oregon Driver's License โ€“ Class C with an acceptable driving record
  • Certification of 40 words per minute at 95% accuracy keyboarding skills.
