Dock / Warehouse Worker
We are currently hiring for dock/warehouse workers in the Las Vegas area! If you're looking for a fast-paced working environment with potential advancement possibilities, then we're looking forward to you joining our team.
This position involves the physical moving of freight into and out of trailers in a timely manner, by handling the freight manually, or using a forklift or hand truck.
Forklift experience is not required but preferred.
Dockworkers must be able to work variable shifts that may consist of days, nights, and or weekends, and overtime hours as required by the company.
Ideal candidates:
- Dependable and ready to work when scheduled.
- Able to withstand consistent physical activity.
- Great communication skills - sense of urgency and willingness to help others - a self-starting positive attitude
Requirements:
- Able to pass a background and drug test
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Perform all duties to department standard and/or as directed by leadership.
- Complete daily work assignments and responsibilities.
- Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
- Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
