Private Lessons Supervisor
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who is wanting to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and interactive environment. As a part of the leadership team, you will support a staff of instructors and the PVT Lessons Manager. Skills including; communication, organization, problem solving, and the ability to multitask, thrive under pressure while interacting with employees and guests of Ski + Snowboard School are must-have skills.
Full Time Seasonal
5 days/week
Approximate Work Dates: 11/16/26 through 04/04/27
Daily Responsibilities:
- Work with the Private Lessons Manager to schedule & assign work to all Instructors.
- Facilitate/attend appropriate instructor line-ups and morning meetings.
- Assign lessons to instructors using ProCard.
- Provide a welcoming and safe environment for our guests.
- Uses PSIA/AASI methods to explain and demonstrate skiing/snowboarding.
- Ensure timely departure and return lessons.
- Administrative Tasks such as; answering email, ensuring pay is accurate, scheduling, etc.
- Communicate with instructors weekly, daily, hourly, and minute to minute.
- Address all staff and guest issues with compassion and professionalism.
- Explain and Enforce Safety Protocols, Rules, and Regulations.
- Oversee and organize a special group booking, First Light, and Club member lessons.
- Assists in building and facilitating Private Premier lessons, lunch bookings, and guest communications.
- Assist with auditing and approving instructor wages, assuring pay is accurately updated on a daily basis.
- Work with other department managers to best utilize staff for availability of guest inventory.
- Observe instructors to identify exceptional work performance as well as areas to improve to ensure the highest level of guest service. Deliver timely feedback.
- Complete mid-season and end-of-season reviews for employees.
- Attend all appropriate departmental and company-wide meetings.
- Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations.
- Demonstrate and maintain risk management for employees and guests.
- Respond to Incidents and Accidents professionally and quickly. Complete necessary paperwork.
- Contact parents and arrange for child pick-up if they are not acclimating to ski school environment.
Qualifications:
- Be a certified instructor
- Remain calm under pressure
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- RTP experience (preferred)
- Previous supervisory experience is an advantage
- Strong focus on safety and good decision making
- Strong attention to detail
- PSIA/AASI certification is required
- Leadership experience is prioritized
- Must be able to commit to 5 days/week throughout the entire season including busy holiday weeks/weekends
- Extra days may be required business pending
- Must be willing to work in inclement weather in a physical work environment
- High school diploma preferred

Pay:
- Starting at $29/hour-salary, this amount could increase dependent on the successful applicant's previous experience and qualifications.
