Job description

The Opportunity:


Provide SME support to drive the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Lessonsย Learned Program forward with the implementation of lessons learned into a variety ofย Command operations, training, and staff initiatives.ย Assist USCYBERCOM-assignedย forces to track, elevate, and resolve observations and issues across the Command and
subordinate components to build a culture of continuous improvement at the strategicย and operational levels of cyberspace operations. Train Command personnel on theย lessons learned process and tools. Serve as advisors and integrators in the pursuit ofย positive change throughout the cyberspace operations domain. Review, validate, and
publish joint lessons learned information into appropriate platforms. Monitor and reportย progress for issue resolution and disseminate reports and other products to the largerย community. Provide recommendations to the client regarding strategy, doctrine, tactics,ย techniques, and procedures for the joint employment of cyberspace operations forces.

You Have:ย 

  • 4+ years of experience working for or supporting a Combatant Command, Joint Force Headquarters, Joint Task Force, Joint Duty Assignment, Cyber Mission Force team, or Intelligence Community organizations
  • 2+ years of experience interacting with and providing briefs to senior leaders
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Experience supporting data gathering using various techniques, including
    working groups, interviews, and surveys
  • Ability to work independently and develop plans of action in support of identified
    goals
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and solution-oriented reports for a variety of
    audiences at varying levels of detail
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:ย 

  • Experience working with Lesson Managers or supporting a Lessons Learned
    program within the Department of Defense
  • Experience with training, in a training environment, or at a programmatic level,
    such as working on training standards or developing training pipelines
  • Experience in Business Administration, Business Process Engineering, Systems
    Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related work, including lifecycle
    planning and requirements analysis
  • Ability to look at a problem analytically and form recommendations to address
    issues or craft plans of action for further evaluation
