We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Processing Crew Member to join our team at our pulse processing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring efficient processing of pulse crops such as lentils, peas, and chickpeas. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

  • Operate and monitor pulse processing equipment (e.g., cleaners, sorters, gravity tables, packaging machines).
  • Load and unload raw and processed materials.
  • Inspect pulses for quality and remove defective products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the processing area.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Record production data and assist with inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in agricultural or food processing is an asset.
  • Ability to operate machinery and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 110 lbs).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
