Lending can take many forms, including personal loans, mortgages, auto loans, and business loans. Lenders assess the borrower's creditworthiness before approving a loan, and the terms of repayment are specified in a loan agreement. Lending plays a crucial role in the economy by enabling individuals and businesses to access funds for various needs and investments.
