Job description

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Field Cost Analyst to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Yanceyville, NC
Summary:
Field Cost Analysts provide analysis and support to the Project Controls and Project Management Team related to tracking incurred costs, progressing P6 forecast schedule, developing and analyzing forecasting at completion, and earned value management construction reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Support daily LEMS process.
  • Maintain cost data in EcoSys system (cost management tool).
  • Validate schedule % complete, actual and forecast start/finish dates weekly with Contractor.
  • Analyze and maintain the project forecast.
  • Support the change management process.
  • Provide accurate and timely cost/schedule information to Project Controls Analyst assigned to the project.
  • Issue weekly construction report.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting/Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of industry and other relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience with a strong focus in Excel.
  • Familiarity with P6 Schedules (Primavera Software).
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management.
