Job description

BLT Culinary is a dynamic, fast-growing leader in the food and beverage industry. We pride ourselves on delivering diverse menus over multiple concepts across our 3 commercial kitchens. We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Account Executive to expand our market footprint. You will be responsible for managing leads, seeking new business and offering on site tastings weekly.

As our F&B Sales Executive, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing key accounts. You will pitch our product portfolio to private companies, residential celebrations, hotels, and retail chains, building lasting partnerships that fuel our brand's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and Close deals
  • Field and source Outbound as well as Inbound leads.
  • Process Banquet Event Orders, Invoices and Payments
  • Work closely with the Operations and Culinary team to ensure smooth execution of events, coordinating logistics, and handling any last-minute issues.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including generating leads, securing contracts, and expanding current customers business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Negotiate favorable contracts with clients and vendors, ensuring agreements are mutually beneficial and properly documented.
  • Hit Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales volume and revenue goals.

The right individual must be comfortable with an Outbound Sales Role as a primary target along with managing existing accounts being developed consistently. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and can manage leads along with high maintenance accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–5 years of proven in Account management or similar sales role, preferably in catering, hospitality, or food & beverage industries.  B2B sales experience specifically within the food and beverage sector.
  • Outgoing, with exceptional communication skills, negotiation, and presentation skills with a willingness to succeed.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and partnerships, including corporate and event-based clients.
  • Expertise in lead generation, lead conversion, client retention, and upselling strategies.
  • CRM Experience with Triple Seat, Sales Force or similar software.
  • Strong attention to detail with relentless follow through.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and catering programs (e.g., Compass Group, Aramark, Sodexo, Fooda) is a plus.
  • Drive: A self-motivated closer who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary (based on experience) plus, plus:

• Bonus structure awarded on:

- Maintaining and exceeding Sales Goals. Expectation is to grow x amount of % (Discussed in Interview) and by hitting this goal and beyond you would relieve a % of uncapped qualified commission. 

• A Phone.com number will be assigned and forwarded to your phone for business purposes.

• Vacation: (5 days) PTO (beginning 90 days after start date)

• Arizona state law Sick Days accrual per guidelines 40 hours a year.

• A company credit card for business expenses after 60 days for potential client lunches and or basic expenses (Will discuss)

• A Computer and desk in the sales office will be offered.

  • An expense account / gas card provided for multiple off site meetings*
  • 401K program after 1 year tenure with company.
