Job description

Help us build the next generation of STEM leaders. Whether you are a lifelong FIRST Robotics participant or have no experience, we have a role for you.

We are looking for one-day volunteers to assist kids in learning about STEM, robotics, and teamwork. We have several roles, such as judging, refereeing matches, and check-in.

Our events include lunch and the opportunity to network with others in the tech and engineering space across the Bay Area.

FIRST Robotics is a program for K-12 youth. Students form teams and build robots from LEGOs or other mechanical parts to complete certain tasks, develop projects to solve a problem in society, and compete at events from November - May. During the competitions, they use their robot to compete with other teams and present their innovation project to a team of judges. This teaches them about engineering, coding, public speaking, marketing, and teamwork.
