Addison Group is partnering with our client, a highly respected professional services organization, to hire a Legal Assistant. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining legal support with technology troubleshooting and workflow coordination.

Job Description:

The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and light technical support to attorneys and internal legal support teams. This individual will assist with workflow coordination, technology onboarding, document management, and day-to-day legal administrative tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism, organization, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming requests and workflow assignments in a timely and organized manner

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and collaborate with internal support teams as needed

• Prioritize multiple assignments and adjust quickly to shifting deadlines and business needs

• Maintain strong communication with attorneys, staff, and team members to ensure seamless workflow coordination

• Assist with troubleshooting software, document systems, and general user technology issues

• Be the liaison with internal IT teams to resolve technical concerns and support system improvements

• Coordinate onboarding support for new employees, including technology setup and access requests

• Support document production, formatting, and administrative projects with strong attention to detail

• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment focused on high-quality service delivery

Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting attorneys or professionals in a legal or corporate environment required

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Prior experience with e-filing at the Tennessee State and Federal Court levels reequired, multi-state court filing experience preferred but not required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• High attention to detail, including proofreading and formatting accuracy

• Strong customer service mindset and ability to build professional relationships across teams

• Experience with document management systems or legal software is a plus

• Typing speed of 65+ WPM
