Who You Are:

The Legal Technology and AI Specialist will support the development, implementation and optimization of legal technology and AI-enabled solutions across the Legal team. This role partners with each Legal division, IT, and business stakeholders to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and scale legal service delivery.
This position operates as an individual contributor within a defined career band and contributes to business outcomes through process improvement, solution delivery, technology enablement, and successful AI adoption and implementation. Success will be measured by increased adoption of legal technology and AI solutions, effective implementation of AI-enabled capabilities, improved cycle times, and quantifiable gains in operational efficiency and overall effectiveness.

The Legal Technology and Data Specialist will support the development, implementation and optimization of legal technology and AI-enabled solutions across the Legal team. This role partners with each Legal division, IT, and business stakeholders to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and scale legal service delivery.

What You Will Do:

  • Support implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of legal technology platforms and AI tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.

  • Develop and maintain AI-enabled workflows and Copilot agents in alignment with governance and security standards

  • Translate business needs into requirements, process flows, and scalable solutions

  • Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across legal operations

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, IT, vendors) to support design, testing (UAT), deployment, and stabilization of solutions

  • Support responsible AI practices, including data handling, access controls, and risk mitigation

  • Develop and deliver training, playbooks, and enablement resources to support adoption and effective use of tools

  • Track and report on adoption, usage, and performance metrics; recommend continuous improvements

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to tool selection and implementation decisions

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting or implementing business applications in a professional, legal, or regulated environment
  • Ability to translate business processes into workflows, requirements, and technical documentation
  • Technical understanding of generative AI architectures, prompt engineering, and enterprise use cases.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI concepts and practical applications
  • Experience supporting solutions across the full project management lifecycle (planning, testing, implementation, rollout, support)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or Copilot Studio
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Experience with Claude
  • Experience applying AI to automate workflows and drive process improvements

  • Exposure to legal technology tools and supporting legal teams
  • Basic understanding of automation, scripting, or system integrations
