Job Summary
Repairs and maintains mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, components on production machinery and equipment such as automated slider painting and plating machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Dismantles machines and equipment to have access to problem area. Inspects and measures parts to detect wear or other problems
  • Removes or replaces worn or defective parts, locates damaged mechanical or electrical parts
  • Performs preventive maintenance on all machinery
  • Operates paint, plating-jumbo or WWT as needed
  • Transport chemicals, sliders, etc., with forklift
  • Performs other related work that may be assigned by management

  • High School/GED (minimum)
  • Must have knowledge of hand tools such as wrench, socket & rachet, screwdriver, hammer, hack saw, grinder
  • Must have forklift experience
  • Must pass Mechanic's Test administered online
  • Must pass audiogram exam
