West Palm Beach law office is in need of a Paralegal to assist on contract to hire basis. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment this is a great opportunity to support a fantastic team. Hours are Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM 

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting attorneys, conducting client intakes, preparing legal documents, and managing case files and deadlines. This position requires strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and document client intakes, gathering relevant information and case details.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including research, document organization, and case management.
  • Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other materials as directed.
  • Prepare and submit documents through electronic filing systems in state courts.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files.
  • Monitor case deadlines, court dates, filings, and other time-sensitive requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties.
  • Manage multiple cases and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide general administrative and legal support to attorneys as needed.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting client intakes.
  • Strong legal drafting and writing skills, including preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic filing (e-filing) in state court.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, competing priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems preferred.
