The SAP R2R Controlling & Project Systems Analyst will be part of the Digital Technology – Business Systems and Strategic Transformation (BSST) organization at Collins Aerospace. This role is recognized as a DT professional with strong hands-on experience in SAP Controlling (CO) and Project Systems (PS), providing functional expertise, configuration capabilities, and analytical skills to support business operations and improve system performance. This position will operate in an SAP ECC 6.8 environment and will play a key role in supporting the organization’s transition to SAP S/4HANA.

** This is a hybrid-based position at one of Collins’ major facilities. **

What YOU will do:

  • Deliver project work across both EPP‑governed projects and Non‑Gated approved projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and development of training materials.

  • Support break/fix tickets and provide functional assistance across: CCA, PCA, Product Costing (including GPD), CO-PA, PS, Results Analysis (RA), and RAR.

  • Provide estimates for approved projects and enhancement work.

  • Identify and execute system and process improvements to increase stability and performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups on major production enhancement initiatives.

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including analysis of pegging errors and unsettled cost objects.

  • Work closely with ABAP development and interface teams to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Partner with Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management teams to manage digital technology solutions and documentation.

  • Assist users with reporting tools including SAP BW and BusinessObjects.

What YOU will learn:

  • Best practices for delivering SAP CO and PS functionality in a highly regulated Aerospace & Defense environment.

  • How to navigate EPP‑governed delivery cycles and run Non‑Gated project workstreams with agility and efficiency.

  • Techniques for analyzing cost flows, settlement errors, pegging issues, and other key R2R operational challenges.

  • How to collaborate across multi‑disciplinary teams including ABAP development, security, infrastructure, compliance, and project management.

  • The ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP configuration and process solutions.

  • Exposure to integration touchpoints with adjacent modules and tools, including MM, SD, PP, BW, and BusinessObjects.

  • Practical experience in supporting month‑end and year‑end close cycles in a complex, global operating environment.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience with SAP CO/PS configuration and production support.

  • Experience with SAP CO with configuration expertise (Product Costing, CO-PA, PS, RA, RAR, GPD).

  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost management, and Aerospace & Defense industry practices.

  • Hands-on support for month-end close and R2R processes.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
