Associate Attorney โ€“ Criminal & Traffic Law

Location: Kendall, and Will Counties IL (Hybrid) - Includes surrounding counties


Salary: $110,000 โ€“ $120,000 per year


Hirsch Law Group is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our criminal and traffic defense practice. This role offers significant courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to manage cases from start to finish within a collaborative legal team.


Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in criminal and traffic matters in city and state courts
  • Manage cases from intake through resolution
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal documents
  • Prepare cases for hearings and court appearances
  • Provide legal advice and communicate case strategy with clients
  • Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and support staff


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active Illinois law license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of legal experience required
  • Experience in criminal or traffic law preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
