GA Telesisโ€™s Flight Solutions Group (FSG) is seeking a self-motivated and results-driven leader to spearhead distribution strategy of the FSGโ€™s products and services. This includes managing relationships with distribution partners, mine consignment opportunities across platforms, OEMโ€™s, MROโ€™s, direct channels, and ensuring maximum market penetration, revenue growth, and alignment with corporate goals. The role demands a deep understanding of aviation distribution marketspace, industry market share, inventory trends and availability transformation in the airline industry. This position reports directly to the President of the Flight Solutions Group and partnering withย Executive team in Pricing & Yield Management, Sales, and Commercial Solutions. The role isย based on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL.ย

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the global distribution strategy across all channels (B2B, Direct Connect, etc.).
  • Lead relationships to transform business to achieve financial targets by growing distribution and consignment opportunities โ€“ own the opportunity.
  • Present with professional knowledge and offer business solutions with OEMโ€™s, MROโ€™s, to build portfolio and grow market share.
  • Lead negotiations and commercial agreements with distribution and consignment partners to ensure cost-effective, strategic access to key markets.
  • Partner with Sales, RADE, and Commercial Solutions teams to ensure alignment of distribution strategies and customer success.
  • Oversee the implementation of distribution innovations to enhance offer personalization and direct sales capabilities.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize the distribution cost vs. revenue generation balance, cycle counts and inventory cost.
  • Represent GA Telesisย in global distribution and industry forums to advocate for favorable policies and partnerships.
  • Lead a team of distribution and commercial professionals, driving performance and strategic focus.ย

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial and business operations at executive level
  • Project management, or product coordination roles, preferably in the aviation or aftermarket industry.
  • Competent user of Microsoft applications, (Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, etc.) and proficient with project management platforms (Smartsheet, Asana, etc.)
Requirements:
  • Team player and leader with integrity and a bias for execution.
  • Exceptionally well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Proficient at translating strategic direction into actionable plans/workstreams and ensuring execution follow-through.
  • Skilled and experienced in leading teams, developing talent, and cross-functionally working in fast-paced, technical environments; experience central leading an organization or multiple teams in coordination is a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills at all organizational levels; ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear and intuitive manner.
  • Effective project management skills include experience leading, coordinating, and executing projects and/or programs with high business impact.
  • Prior experience in both legacy, low-cost carrier distribution models, digital marketing, and e-commerce in the aviation sector.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory environments impacting distribution and retailing.
