Left Handed information

What challenges might a left-handed person face in a typical office role, and how can these be addressed?

Left-handed employees may encounter ergonomic challenges, such as using right-handed equipment like computer mice, desks with fixed armrests, or shared tools designed for right-handed users. These issues can be mitigated by requesting adjustable or left-handed equipment, and many modern workplaces are increasingly accommodating of these needs. It's helpful to communicate preferences during onboarding, and most HR departments are receptive to providing suitable resources to ensure comfort and productivity. Proactively addressing these needs can help create an inclusive and efficient work environment.

What does it mean to be left handed?

Being left handed means that a person naturally prefers to use their left hand for tasks such as writing, eating, and throwing. This preference is determined by how the brain is wired, with left handed individuals often having stronger connections in the right hemisphere of the brain. Approximately 10% of the world's population is left handed. Left handed people sometimes face challenges using tools or equipment designed for right handed users, but many products are now available specifically for left handed individuals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Left Handed professional, and why are they important?

I'm sorry, but 'Left Handed' is not a recognized professional occupation, so it does not have specific skills, qualifications, or certifications associated with a real-world job role.

Is left-handedness linked to ADHD?

Left-handedness and ADHD are both neurodevelopmental traits, but research shows no direct causal link between being left-handed and having ADHD. Some studies suggest that left-handed individuals may have different brain lateralization, but this does not imply a higher risk of ADHD. Job roles requiring fine motor skills or specific cognitive functions do not typically consider handedness as a factor related to ADHD.

What positions are best for lefties?

Left-handed individuals can excel in a variety of jobs, especially those that do not require specialized equipment or ambidextrous skills. Roles such as graphic designers, writers, teachers, and certain technical positions often have fewer physical constraints related to handedness. What jobs are left-handed people good at?

Left-handed people can excel in a variety of jobs, especially those requiring manual dexterity, spatial awareness, or creativity, such as artists, surgeons, architects, and musicians. ABOUT THE COMPANY

THE HOTTEST FRANCHISE!

Sam Berry(founder) grew up in the restaurant industry but always felt limited working for someone else’s vision. The rules and restrictions never made sense to him. Living in a right handed world, sometimes you’re just not understood. That’s why in 2012 Sam took matters into his own hands and created Lefty’s Cheesesteak. A place where he could innovate, problem solve, and express himself the only way he knew how. Like a lefty.

Years were spent perfecting the art of creative cheesesteaks, hoagies, burgers, and other highly imaginative food. Countless early mornings and late nights were spent at one little hoagie shop in a suburb of Detroit. When the time came to expand, we were ready.

Lefty’s Cheesesteak’s can be found all over the metro Detroit area today and continue to open new locations everyday. We are now breaking ground in other states outside of Michigan and plan to grow exponentially going forward nationwide. Lefty’s is a fun place with a great atmosphere and absolutely amazing food. That’s why we have been so successful and are growing so fast. As the saying goes, if you don’t eat left, you don’t eat right.
