Job description

LD Systems is seeking a skilled Video Technician to support live event productions and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality video execution across live events, venues, and occasionally permanent installations. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about producing exceptional visual experiences.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up, operate, and strike video systems for live events and installations at various show sites around DFW and occasionally out of town or out of state
  • Configure and troubleshoot LED walls, projection systems, switchers, and signal flow
  • Collaborate with audio, lighting, and production teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Perform equipment testing, maintenance, and quality checks
  • Assist with warehouse prep and organization of video equipment
  • Assist with pre show equipment needs coordination with other operations team members
  • Ensure all deliverables meet LD Systems' quality and client expectations

PERFORMANCE GOALS

  • Execute events with minimal technical issues and high client satisfaction
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in equipment prep and deployment
  • Contribute to a collaborative, solution-focused team environment

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in AV, live video production, or inventory coordination
  • Working knowledge of LED video systems, switchers, converters, and monitors
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with inventory or asset management software
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Physical work including standing, lifting, and moving equipment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, High-pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Willingness to work on events during any periods as necessary to ensure successful results, training of personnel, and support of client relationships.
  • Experience managing LED inventory at scale
  • Understanding of video Equipment and signal flow (SDI, HDMI, fiber), and scaling
  • Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and depreciation
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
