Job description

Position Title: AV Field Service Technician
Location: Mechanicsburg PA
Travel: Local Travel Required

Overview
We are seeking an AV Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of professional audiovisual systems, with a focus on LED displays and video wall technologies. This role will work directly in the field supporting commercial and enterprise AV environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on AV experience and a strong technical foundation in LED display systems, video walls, and related AV hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and service AV systems including LED displays and video walls

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot AV hardware, signal flow, and display issues in the field

  • Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades for installed systems

  • Work with project managers and installation teams to support system deployments

  • Ensure systems are functioning properly and meet client requirements

  • Document service work, troubleshooting steps, and system updates

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting professional AV systems

  • Hands-on experience with LED displays, video walls, or large-format digital displays

  • Understanding of AV signal flow, cabling, and system components

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and system integration issues

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in the field

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTS certification or other AV industry certifications

  • Experience supporting commercial AV environments (corporate, broadcast, command centers, etc.)

  • Familiarity with AV control systems and networking fundamentals
