What you will be considered for:

Intel Foundry Module Development Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architecture but not limited to:

  • Led scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures.
  • Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.
  • Participate in the development of intellectual property.
  • Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
  • Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly Methodology
Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experience, and/or classes/research, and post-doctoral research.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) field of study with a focus on hands-on experimental research.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Semiconductor processing, Semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology.
  • Semiconductor processing or device fabrication and/or nanotechnology with a wet etch
  • Strong expertise in chemical processing and chemical development
  • Experience leading projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Process control systems, methodologies, sources of variability, and statistics.
  • External Foundry Experience
