Job Description

Responsibilities of a Part Time Construction Instructor include but are not limited to:

  • Lecture and Lab instruction for Construction Management, and or Construction Technology courses

  • Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes

  • Provide advisement to students

  • Some program and or curriculum development may be requested

  • Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Construction Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management

  • Knowledge of computer classroom technologies

  • Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems

  • Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce

Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.

Salary Information:

$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.

Schedule:

Construction Management courses are taught at the CSN Summerlin Campus, in-person, online, and are scheduled during the day, and evenings.
