Job Summary
The Department of Psychological Science at the University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a full-time Lecturer position (with benefits) for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Teaching responsibilities will be on the Dahlonega campus. Successful applicants will be able to teach courses in Introductory Psychology, Lifespan Development, Careers and Skills in Psychology, as well as upper-division level courses in their area of expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching 15 hours per semester (undergraduate), including a combination of Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development, Careers and Skills in Psychology, as well as upper-level courses in area(s) of specialization.
  • Holding office hours and attending department meetings.

Required Qualifications
  • Masters degree in psychology or a related field with at least 18 hours of graduate level psychology courses at the time of appointment is required; a Ph.D. or other related terminal degree and college teaching experience are preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
