This is an exciting time to be joining as we upgrade our technology and prepare to move to a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Benbrook, Texas.

ABOUT THE POSITION: FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Our Forklift Operators play a critical role in both inbound and outbound operations by safely operating lifts including stand-up/sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.

This role is approximately 50% forklift operation and 50% general warehouse tasks off the forklift, so associates must be comfortable moving between both types of work throughout the shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inbound (Receiving & Put-Away)

• Unload inbound trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks

• Inspect and verify incoming product quantities and conditions

• Label and scan inventory using Handheld Scanners

• Transport pallets to designated put-away locations

• Safely place goods in racking using reach or sit-down forklifts

Outbound (Replenishment, Picking, Packing & Shipping)

• Perform inventory replenishment, moving inventory from the overstock bins to pick bins

• Stage completed store orders

• Load outbound trucks per loading plans

Forklift Specific Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other lift equipment per OSHA standards

• Conduct daily forklift inspections

• Navigate tight aisles and racking safely

• Stack and maneuver pallets at varying heights

• Follow all equipment and safety protocols

Quality Control

• Check for damage or labeling issues

• Maintain a clean workspace

• Report inventory discrepancies or equipment issues

General Warehouse Support

• Perform a variety of general warehouse tasks outside of the forklift, including receiving, order fulfillment, rolling leather, and other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• High school Diploma/GED preferred

• Valid forklift certification

• 3 years of lift operator experience

• Ability to operate equipment safely at heights

• Experience using WMS and Handheld Scanners

• Attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand 8+ hours

• Reliable attendance and transportation

• Willingness to perform non-forklift duties
