Job description

We're growing our team here at Mac! We are searching for a Leasing Manager to join our sales team here in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. This role is responsible for efficient and consistent operations of the leasing office under the supervision of the Leasing Director. They will aid, train and work with the Leasing Director to ensure smooth operations of our two offices in Hyde Park.

The typical schedule for this role is Sunday-Thursday, 9a-6p with a salary of $85k + bonus potential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with direction, guidance and leadership to leasing consultants.
Assist with direction, guidance and leadership to leasing consultants. Assist with training all leasing consultants for tours, phone calls and all communication with potential residents.
Fill in as needed for tours, leasing calls, processing applications and all applicable leasing consultant duties.
Assist with review of applications to ensure the accurate and efficient preparation/processing of all potential resident information.
Assist staff with customer issues regarding new move ins.
Assist with monthly work schedule for leasing consultants.
Maintains, revises and orders leasing office documents.
Conducts regular inspections of model and vacant units in order to identify areas in need of cleaning or maintenance and items in need of repair. Prepares work orders as necessary.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Four (4) to six (6) years of related training or experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Computer skills including: internet, e-mail and Microsoft Office. Previous Salesforce experience preferred.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to interact effectively with residents, vendors and employees at all levels of the Organization.
Patience and the ability to react to stressful situations in a professional manner.
