Location: Silver Spring, MD (Travel throughout the DMV required)

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $45,000 – $60,000 / Annually

Work Schedule: Full-time, 45+ hours/week; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Hybrid position with frequent travel between portfolio properties.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a driven Leasing Associate to lead leasing efforts across a diverse portfolio of office, retail, industrial, and residential properties. This is a relationship-focused, sales-driven role responsible for sourcing new tenants, marketing available space, conducting property tours, negotiating lease terms, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver an exceptional tenant experience. The ideal candidate enjoys building business relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable traveling between properties throughout the DMV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease office, retail, industrial, and residential properties across the portfolio.
  • Develop and execute property-specific marketing and leasing strategies.
  • Prospect and source new tenants through direct outreach and networking.
  • Build relationships with the commercial brokerage community and local businesses.
  • Respond promptly to leasing inquiries and schedule property tours.
  • Market available space using CoStar, Crexi, MLS, Craigslist, and other platforms.
  • Draft Letters of Intent (LOIs) and lease agreements.
  • Partner with Marketing to create property-specific marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Property Management and Accounting to onboard new tenants.
  • Track leasing activity, maintain accurate records, and follow up on leads.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of leasing experience.
  • Experience leasing both commercial and residential properties preferred.
  • Mixed-use property experience is highly desired.
  • Experience negotiating lease agreements and understanding various lease structures (NNN, full service, modified gross, etc.).
  • Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license with willingness to travel throughout the DMV.
