Job Overview:

ย As a part-time Compliance and Leasing Coordinator, youโ€™ll be responsible for community compliance enforcement and leasing administration. This role requires strong knowledge of governing documents, attention to detail, and the ability to manage inspections, documentation, resident communication, and reporting in coordination with the Property Manager and Board of Directors.

This part-time opportunity is available at a property in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Your Responsibilities:ย 

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the communityโ€™s Rules and Regulations, Declaration, and the expectations of the Board of Directors.
  • Conduct routine community inspections to identify violations.
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to violations, including: uploading inspection photos into the Connect system, preparing and issuing violation letters, and maintaining accurate compliance and enforcement logs.
  • Print all violation letters, assess fines as applicable, and approve weekly violation uploads.
  • Answer all violation-related calls routed from the main line or the Connect call center within 24 hours.
  • Participate in meetings with the Property Manager, at minimum once per month, to review the status of violations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of leasing restrictions, Rules and Regulations, Declaration, and Board expectations.
  • Perform leasing administration duties from the corporate office as assigned.
  • Issue violations to owners found not in compliance with leasing restrictions.
  • Track expired leases, conduct follow-ups, and issue required correspondence.
  • Collect, review, and upload all leasing documents and related information into the Connect system.
  • Generate weekly reports identifying expired or non-compliant leases.
  • Answer all leasing-related calls routed from the main Lakewood Falls line or the Connect call center.

Skills & Qualifications:ย 

  • Associateโ€™s degree or higher in Business or related field, or equivalent experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Experience in the property management industry preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and consistently enforce governing documents.
  • Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.ย 
  • Must possess a high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using technology and property management systems; prior experience with compliance or leasing systems is a plus.
