Job description

The Senior Living Leasing Associate is primarily responsible for interacting with prospects, providing tours and closing sales at The Oaks of Louisiana in a timely, consistent, and professional manner. Activities require exceptional focus on details, accuracy, and timeliness. The Senior Living Leasing Associate contributes to team success by applying existing leasing and sales knowledge and specific understanding of The Oaks of Louisiana to professionally execute the sales and move-in processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Leasing Manager as well as with other The Oaks of Louisiana team members and departments to assist in achieving department goals.
  • Collaborate on implementation of strategies and tactics to increase campus census
  • Responds to requests for information within 24 hours of request receipt
  • Meets with prospects and reviews their situation and needs in detail
  • Executes residency contracts
  • Assists the Sales and Leasing Manager, other Senior Living Leasing Associates, and Maintenance and Housekeeping staff to ensure all residences are ready on time.
  • Records all communications accurately and in a timely manner through MatrixCare, including records of conversations and correspondence.
  • Develop a detailed schedule for moving day activities, coordinate the schedule with all departments involved and outside vendors if needed, and ensure the resident receives the appropriate resident handbook.
  • Submit leasing activity reports and documentation to the Sales and Leasing Manager, as requested.
  • Maintains on-call status for weekends and holidays, when requested

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2โ€“4 years of experience in sales, leasing, senior living or related field
  • Specific strengths in sales and development of relationship selling or comparable experience
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver superior customer service
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 is required.
  • Ability to fully utilize and maintain a process for documentation and tracking of prospects within a customer relationship management computer system (CRM)
  • Ability to express complex information in a clear and concise format
  • Ability to present information at various levels of understanding
  • Must display a willingness to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Must be very well organized
  • Must have the ability to work independently as well as work effectively with affiliated teammates and manage time well to complete duties within the requisite timeframe.
  • Valid driver's license (and liability insurance) with own vehicle for local travel in support of educational seminars and established sales goals
