The Automotive Lease Retention Portfolio Associate manages an assigned portfolio of lease and retail customers to drive retention, loyalty and upgrade opportunities.ย 


The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years Automotive Sales Support, BDC, Portfolio, Auto Retention, or Customer Engagement experience. excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of lease and retail customers to drive retention, loyalty, and upgrade opportunities.
  • Proactively contact customers approaching lease maturity, equity positions, or inspection milestones.
  • Coordinate and encourage pre-inspections, final inspections, and upgrade conversations.
  • Support acquisition opportunities initiated through the portfolio process.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, notes, and follow-up cadence.

  • 1โ€“3+ years of experience in automotive sales support, BDC, portfolio, retention, or customer engagement roles.
  • Strong phone, text, and email communication skills.
  • Highly organized with disciplined follow-up habits.
  • Comfortable discussing lease terms, inspections, and upgrade options (training provided).
  • CRM proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset with accountability to shared performance goals.
