Position Summary

The Experience Designer is an individual contributor role responsible for designing and delivering brand-aligned learning experiences that support our Dual Brand concept. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Learning & Development, this role partners with stakeholders across brands and functions to develop engaging, scalable training solutions that drive operational performance, business outcomes, and consistent guest experiences.

This role operates in a fast-paced, high-change environment and requires strong execution, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate brings experience in restaurant environments, a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to design practical, performance-driven learning experiences for frontline operators and leaders.

Key ResponsibilitiesLearning Experience Design & Development
  • Design and develop learner-centered training solutions across modalities (eLearning, instructor-led, blended, and on-the-job)
  • Translate operational processes and brand standards into clear, actionable learning experiences for frontline teams and managers
  • Analyze and transform existing content into scalable, effective learning solutions across both brands
  • Apply instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Agile, Design Thinking) to deliver high-impact solutions
  • Adapt and localize learning content for diverse audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and operational applicability
Collaboration
  • Partner with stakeholders across both brands to gather requirements and ensure learning solutions reflect brand standards and operational needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Culinary, Marketing, and Field teams to align training with key initiatives
  • Incorporate brand-specific elements into learning experiences while supporting consistency where appropriate
  • Provide recommendations on learning approaches based on business needs and learner experience
Stakeholder Support & Execution
  • Participate in needs analysis discussions and working sessions with Brand Training and Operations Teams and field teams
  • Execute against agreed project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Own end-to-end development of learning solutions, including scoping, design, stakeholder alignment, and delivery
  • Communicate progress and incorporate feedback to refine learning solutions
Content Development & LMS Execution
  • Develop and maintain learning content within the LMS (Docebo experience preferred)
  • Create engaging, interactive, and user-centric learning experiences aligned with brand guidelines
  • Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise) to produce high-quality materials
  • Ensure content is engaging, interactive, and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Manage course uploads, configurations, and updates in the LMS
  • Troubleshoot LMS content issues and support end-user experience
  • Optimize learning paths and assignments to drive completion and performance
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Gather learner feedback and performance data to inform updates to training materials
  • Align learning solutions to key operational and business performance outcomes (e.g., guest experience, speed of service, accuracy, and sales drivers)
  • Conduct iterative improvements to learning content based on insights and stakeholder input
  • Support ongoing updates as business needs evolve
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, or related field
  • 3-6+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design fundamentals
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise, or similar)
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills
  • Experience with LMS Administration, Docebo preferred
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to review, validate, and ensure accuracy of translated learning content for operational use
  • Target Salary $75k-$90k depending on experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or Full-Service Restaurant (FSR) environments
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, training, or field enablement
  • Experience working with multi-brand franchise systems or multi-unit operations
  • Knowledge of Docebo LMS administration and reporting tools
  • Experience creating learning for frontline and hourly team members
  • Exposure to agile development or rapid content design cycles
  • Basic graphic design or multimedia development skills
  • Familiarity with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Familiarity with emerging learning technologies, including AI-enabled content development tools
