Job description

Description and Responsibilities
Open Sky's Respite Programs are short-term group living environments that provide treatment of intermittent crisis and stabilization for adults who are diagnosed with a mental health and/or substance use disorder. The goal of the Respite program is to work collaboratively with individuals to develop skills to maintain their independence in the community and live a life that is not defined by their mental illness.
The Program Coordinator provides oversight of the day-to-day operations including program staff, treatment, milieu management and administrative functions. They collaborate with individuals served, clinicians, nurses and other members of the team to implement and monitor self management, health and wellness plans, and activities for individuals in the program.
Other Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clinicians and iIntegrated team members to complete all Assessments, Treatment Plans, Service Notes and Periodic Reviews according to prescribed timelines.
  • Hire, supervise, mentor and evaluate Counselors, and Overnight Staff.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of component goals, objectives, and work plan tasks that are directed toward accomplishing the Agency's Mission and Vision.
  • Develop and manage program budget.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
  • Experience working with adults with mental health challenges, required.
  • Previous supervisory experience, required.
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record, required.
