Job Description
Our client is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator for a contract opportunity for a healthcare organization. The Program Coordinator supports a Accredited Continuing Education (ACE) program in coordinating accredited education activities, maintaining compliance documentation, and enhancing the learner and planner experience across the system.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring clinicians and care teams have access to evidence-based, high-quality, and impactful continuing education opportunities that advance clinical excellence and lifelong learning.
This is a temporary assignment offering an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in healthcare education, program operations, and accreditation management within a mission-driven, system-level environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of accrediting continuing educational activities, including consultation calls with planners, creating activity applications, managing event logistics, and evaluating post-activity outcomes.
• Serve as a liaison between entity-level planners to manage accurate and timely submission of documentation, financial disclosures, and evaluations.
• Ensure activity documentation and content meet Joint Accreditation standards and State regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and data accuracy.
• Manage the department inbox by triaging learner inquiries and technical difficulties, providing clear and timely resolutions or routing appropriately.
• Track project milestones (applications, evaluations, and reporting deadlines) and assist with preparing progress summaries.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration, education, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to balance multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-service orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Smartsheet or other learning/project management tools preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, or Public Health a plus.
