Today, tens of millions of workers start and end their days with our workforce operating platform. Helping people get paid, grow in their careers, and shape the future of their industries. That’s what we do.

We never stop learning. We never stop challenging the norm. We push for better, and we celebrate the wins along the way. Here, you’ll get flexibility that’s real, benefits you can count on, and a team that succeeds together. Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.

About the Team:

The Enterprise Strategic Programs and Business Operations team develops enterprise integrated planning process and operating rhythm with coordinated plans, disciplined execution, and transparent performance management. We partner across functions and product lines to orchestrate enterprise planning, lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives, and build company-level execution management framework to ensure seamless execution. The team is uniquely positioned at the intersection of enterprise strategy, planning, operating cadence, and transformation, with broad visibility across UKG functions and direct exposure to senior leaders.

About the Role:

The Sr. Principal, Executive Reporting will own the design and delivery of enterprise-level executive review framework and dashboard that provides senior leaders with a concise, fact-based view of company-level business performance and strategic initiatives performance, with gaps and risks identified for timely decisions and course-adjustments. This role will collaborate with Finance, Enterprise Systems, and cross-functional teams in data collection to ensure data quality and consistency, challenge inputs for clarity, identify performance challenges and deep dive into root cause analytics, and produce executive-ready dashboards that enable faster, better-informed leadership decisions.

  • Define the enterprise executive reporting framework, architecture, cadence, standards, and content requirements so senior leaders receive a consistent and decision-oriented view of performance
  • Synthesize financial, operational, customer, product, and strategic initiative inputs into clear narratives that explain key drivers and action required
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Systems, Finance, and relevant functional teams to collect and reconcile source data, identify inconsistencies or emerging trends, and partner with functional owners to strengthen KPI accuracy and narrative quality
  • Develop executive-level dashboards and briefing materials, that are concise and visually clear
  • Manage the reporting production calendar, review process, and deep-dives to ensure materials are timely, accurate, and aligned across contributors
  • Provide forward-looking analyses, scenarios, and implications that move reporting beyond status updates toward insight, risk anticipation, and strategic decision support
  • Continuously improve execution management processes, templates, and tools to reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and elevate the effectiveness of executive communication
Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience in enterprise planning, enterprise business operations, data analytics, or strategic finance, supporting executive operating reviews, board-level materials, or enterprise performance cadences within a technology or SaaS organization
  • Demonstrated experience developing company-level executive performance reporting or leadership materials that integrate complex information from multiple functions into one coherent view.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability to collect and validate data, identify performance drivers and trends, and translate findings into implications and recommendations using Excel, business intelligence tools, or equivalent methods
  • Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms, including the ability to connect dashboard insights to a compelling executive narrative
  • Proficient in using AI for automated reporting and dashboarding
  • Demonstrated experience writing, designing, and presenting executive-ready content for senior leadership, including clear storylines, concise messages, and explicit decisions or actions
  • Ability to exercise strategic judgment, challenge inputs constructively, and communicate with confidence and precision in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Advanced degree in strategy, business, finance, analytics, or related discipline; MBA preferred
