Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Learning Disability Team at Somerset.

Responsibleย foraย caseloadย ofย varyingย complexity,ย commensurateย withย abilityย and qualifications, receiving and responding to referrals from various sources.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification:ย A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
  • Registration:ย Must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England.
  • Experience:ย 2+ years post qualified experience as an adult social worker in a statutory setting.ย 
  • Knowledge of Legislation:ย Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Skills:ย Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Driving Licence:ย A full UK driving licence and access to a car are often required for client visits.
