BRMi is seeking a Junior Instructinal Designer to support a large financial enterprise in a hybrid work environment in either Vienna, VA, Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL.ย 

**Hybrid in Vienna, VA, Pensacola, FL, or Winchester, VA 3 days per week.**

**In person interviews will be required for this role prior to any offer to prevent employment fraud.**

A Junior Instructional Designer primarily supports the development of instructional content and learning experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing instructional materialsย such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, training manuals, and instructional videosย 
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and senior instructional designersย to gather content, insights, and ensure accuracyย 
  • Applying instructional design models and adult learning theoriesย to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiencesย 
  • Testing and revising materialsย based on feedback and learner evaluations to improve effectiveness.
  • Staying updated on instructional design trends and tools, including e-learning authoring software and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Qualifications

Minimum 1-5 years of experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Human Performance Improvement, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of instructional design experience.
  • Proficient with Articulate Rise and Storyline
  • Experience conducting needs analyses and developing performance-based learning solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing:
    • eLearning
    • Virtual instructor-led training
    • Job aids and performance support tools
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with SMEs and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
