The position will support the growth and development of the Applied Sciences Institute for National Security (ASI), located at the SAGE facility in Stead. Specifically, the incumbent will lead recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and training activities for undergraduate and graduate students. This position serves as a key liaison between faculty, researchers, students, university offices, and external partners to build a strong pipeline of talented students prepared to contribute to cutting-edge research programs. The Coordinator will help cultivate an engaging and supportive research environment while promoting student success, workforce development, and career readiness aligned with the instituteโ€™s mission areas.The incumbent will develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with external stakeholders to advance grant deliverables and workforce development goals; develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract undergraduate and graduate student researchers; and manage social media accounts and website to highlight student achievements, research experiences, career outcomes and events.
